Because of all the privacy laws in place, it is very difficult to reach the qualifying wounded veterans.   We have contacted all Veteran Service Officers throughout the area as well as all VA Centers, VA Hospitals and clinics and various other providers.    We can only leave brochures and hope they find their way into the hands of our wounded veterans.

South Dakota's Secretary of Military Affairs has been very helpful in this regard along with many others too numerous to mention.  We have been featured in many newspapers, magazine articles and on National Public Radio and TV.

HOWEVER, we are relying on YOU to help us spread the word about this project.   Won't you please pass this information on to any combat injured veteran that you think may qualify?   Word of mouth advertising is oftentimes the best.

If you would be willing to tell the story of Operation Black Hills Cabin to groups in your area, we have an AMBASSADOR PROGRAM just for you.  We provide all the necessary materials for you to give a short 5-10 minute presentation and answer questions.   For more details, call us at 605-517-1830.
